Research Survey Invitation: Virtual reality learning needs of OTs and PTs

This is a guest post from Stephanie Glegg, an OT and Knowledge Broker/Facilitator at the CDR Evidence Centre at the Sunny Hill Health Centre for Children in Vancouver, BC.

Calling ALL OTs and PTs in Canada: Your responses on a short, anonymous online survey will help researchers identify therapists' learning and support needs related to virtual reality (VR) and video game use. Even if you are not using VR or video games in your practice right now, we are still very interested in your responses - you will only be asked to answer a few questions. Depending on your experience using VR, the survey should take you about 10-30 minutes to complete.

This information will inform the development of free, accessible online learning resources for OTs and PTs to support skill development in VR/video games use for a variety of patient populations, clinical settings and VR/gaming systems.

Research Team: Dr. Danielle Levac, PT (Northeastern University), Stephanie Glegg, OT (University of British Columbia), Drs Heather Colquhoun, OT and Virginia Wright, PT (University of Toronto), Dr. Pat Miller, PT (McMaster University).

Please click this link: or copy the URL into your web browser to access the consent statement and complete the survey. Survey participants will have the option of entering a draw to win one of five $50 Amazon gift certificates!
