Highlights from Sandbox150!
This is a guest post submitted by The Sandbox Project.
On June 6th, The Sandbox Project built a gigantic 150-foot pop-up sandbox on Ottawa’s Sparks Street to raise awareness of Canadian issues in child and youth health.
Children, Parliamentarians, kids’ health organizations, corporate Canada and media braved the rainy weather for a friendly midday sandcastle competition. Together, they celebrated the achievements of individuals and organizations working toward improving health and wellbeing outcomes for Canadian children and youth. This year, The Sandbox Project was delighted to welcome CAPHC President and CEO, Emily Gruenwoldt, who helped judge the Sandbox150 sandcastle competition.
