As the Project Manager, Improving Integrated Care for Youth (IICY) Initiative, you are responsible for managing all aspects and resources within the project from initiation to completion in order to ensure that all deliverables within scope are delivered on time and within budget.  You will lead the charge in development and implementation of project plans, implementation of project deliverables and monitor progress to ensure client satisfaction using Project Management and Change Management best practices.

Let’s break it down. Your responsibilities include:

  • Working in a fast-paced environment that requires agile, clear thinking for quick turnaround of accurate, high-quality deliverables, with the proven ability to manage multiple projects in varying complexity, size, andscope.

  • Learning the lay of the land and planning your approach. You catch on quick, and will come to deeply understand HSO’s value proposition, which will allow you to make strategic introductions and promising connections. Figure out the who, where, when and how, to make these connections happen.

  • Building authentic and enduring relationships, both internally with staff and leadership across the enterpriseand externally with clients, partner organizations, Faculty, etc. Stakeholder management is key to this role.You are a client service guru who likes to surpass expectations and stay positive in the most challenging situations.

  • Working collaboratively with other teams in order to meet or enhance service requirements. Internal collaboration. You won’t be in this alone. The HSO team is our – and your – greatest asset. Lean on our team’s goldmine of talent and expertise to strengthen you in your role.

You have a unique history. Does it include the education and experience listed below?

  • A minimum of 3+ years of varied and progressive experience in project management and/or other related health field.

  • Understanding of the Integrated Care approach

  • University Degree in a related specialized field

  • Demonstrated experience with project planning methods, process, terminology, and best practices, including experience with developing, negotiating and finalizing clear project and client service plans

  • Demonstrated experience with delivering projects within budgets, scope and timelines

  • Well-developed analytical skills, presentation skills, writing/communications skills including the ability to adapt processes to meet the needs of various clients

  • Flexibility, conceptual thinking and the ability to motivate team members

  • Ability to assess situations and determine the importance, urgency and risks associated

  • Demonstrated experience with building and maintaining positive relationships with existing clients

  • Ability to handle multiple priorities and deadlines


You’ll stand out if…

  • Bilingual English and French is an asset

  • PMP certification is an asset

  • Technical knowledge of MS Office and Project Management software tools, including Microsoft 365 and MS Project

  • Have knowledge of the healthcare environment, locally or around the world!
