Clinician Educator Faculty Position Division of Palliative Care Department of Pediatrics

The Department of Pediatrics at McMaster University and McMaster Children’s Hospital is expanding its Pediatric Palliative Care Program. We are seeking one full-time academic physicians to join our team to develop and deliver a comprehensive clinical service including a call roster. The successful candidate will be clinician educators and share responsibility for education and research in their division. The program currently provides specialist Palliative Care services to children of all ages and functions as a Regional referral centre serving a community of 2.3 million people.

This position will incorporate an academic appointment and salary will be commensurate with the experience and expertise of the applicant. Applicants should be certified (or eligible for certification) by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and have demonstrated experience and recognized training in Pediatric Palliative Medicine and must be licensed (or eligible for licensure) in the Province of Ontario. Experience in clinical research, medical education or quality improvement would be an asset.
